My home is cozy.

I spend time and effort making my home a pleasant place for the members of my family. I take into account the personalities of each of my family members and create a serene space that is functional for everyone.

In my home, there’s a place for everything and everything is in its place. The outward appearance of my home has an effect on how I feel internally. Keeping my home in order creates an atmosphere which fosters inner peace.

The counters in my home are free from clutter because I’ve designated one area for mail and other paperwork, which normally tends to pile up. The floors are clean and clear with plenty of room to walk.

From the soothing colors of the walls to the sweet aromas rising from the candles, my home is a place of relaxation. I enjoy sitting on my comfortable couch and decompressing after a long day. I am blessed to have such a beautiful place to call home.

When I look around my home, I am happy with everything just the way it is. I resist the negative tendencies to critique, compare, or complain about my space. My warm and cozy home is just what I need at this point in my life.

Today, I choose to take a step back and delight in the blessing that is my home. My grateful heart drives me to take care of what I have in order to be able to enjoy it to the fullest.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What do I love about my home?

2. How can I take better care of my home?

3. How do I feel when I enter my home?
